Hello! my name is Amanda. I like to create fluid, magical illustrations and animations. My style is both complex and elegant filled-in with fine line details. When working more painterly, my work often focuses on dramatic lighting and layering of colors shared throughout the artworks. Favorite subjects I like to explore are environments and other cultural mythologies. My work takes on a very dream-like quality to it and is heavily inspired by the works of art nouveau, Nauko Takeuchi, and other fantasy artworks. I like to make my viewers see the essence of a location or place. On the flip-side I also like to work very graphical in my art. This style of mine weighs more in on my line work and plays with triangular shading. It is very bold and a nice switch up from my more painterly style. It lets me play around with a more screenprint type of look. In my free time I like to make jewelry and work on other artistic crafts. I’m excited to create many fantastical worlds and stories to share with you.
